National Innovation Foundation-India, an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India is India’s national initiative to strengthen the grassroots technological innovations and outstanding traditional knowledge. Essential Educational Qualification:
Ph. D in Natural Science / Agriculture with 6 years’ experience including at least four years’ experience in value addition and incubation of technological innovations.
MSc. Natural Science / Agriculture with First class and minimum 10 years’ research experience including minimum 4 years’ experience in above-mentioned areas.
Desirable Qualifications:
Demonstrated competence in coordination with public and private sector R&D institutions and innovators to add value in innovations; product development and incubation plans and help innovators, mobilize funds from different schemes etc., will be additional qualification.

Information Technology and Database Management:
Essential Qualification:
MSc. in Information / Computer Science or BE / B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology with first class and minimum four years’ experience in MIS, network management, data analytics, RDBMS administration etc.
Desirable Qualifications:
The candidate should have a record of accomplishment of taking initiatives, contributing to institutional growth and be excellent at oral and written communication, drafting compelling narratives, managing external relations and initiating awareness building activities. Hands on experience in handling the schemes/programmes will be an additional qualification
Age: Not exceeding 35 years for the posts of Innovation Officer/Scientist ‘C’ and 50 Years for the post of Scientist ‘F’. The upper age limit is relaxable for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Ex-service men, Other Backward Classes, Physically Handicapped and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. In this regards, the Director, NIF may relax the upper age limit in case of highly experienced candidates in specialized areas

The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
The selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India.
