Post Name: Research Associates for Climate Change Adaptation Study
Educational Qualification:
Position 1: M.Tech/ M.Sc in Climate Science and Policy or Environmental Sciences or Agricultural Meteorology or Sustainable Development preferably with 1-2 years of demonstrable research experience.
Position 2: M.Tech/ M.Sc in Economics or Statistics preferably with 1-2 years of demonstrable research experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
Demonstrable academic writing skills, which can be judged with one of the following:
Should have published at least one paper as first or second author in a journal with SJR rank of 0.25 or above.
In absence of a journal paper, an applicant must submit a systematic review paper on ‘Impacts, vulnerabilities and adaptations in India’. The review paper must be about 5000 words excluding references.
Contract period: 12 months
Remuneration: INR 35,000 per month
Selection process: The selection will be based on academic writing (50%), Academic performance in Bachelor and Masters (20%), and Personal Interview (30%). The selected candidate will be required to join at the earliest.
