Railway Recruitment Board NTPC Exam has published a new notification for regarding RRB Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Examination 2020-21. More information about this Examination, Admit Card and Exam City are Given Below. also other details are mention in Important Link.

The 1st Stage CBT will be held in multiple phases in order to ensure adherence to all the Covid-19 guidelines for the large number of eligible candidates (approx. 1.25 crores). Accordingly the first phase of the Exam is scheduled for 23 lakh candidates approx. to be held from 28.12.2020 to 13.01.2021 in various cities all over the country. The remaining eligible candidates will be scheduled in subsequent phases and will be intimated accordingly.

For the Candidates who are scheduled in a particular phase:  

• The LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on all RRB websites 10 days prior to start of their exam. 
• Downloading of E-Call letters will start 4 days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and date intimation link.

On accessing the LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date , message will be displayed “Dear Candidate , You are not scheduled in the present phase. Please wait for intimation from RRBs”

RRB CEN - 01/2018 - ALP & Technicians Notice Regarding Exam Centers

Indian Railways has released a notification explaining why are some candidates getting their exam centers outside. The notification carries facts and figures on how many candidates have applied for Indian railways recruitment exam for ALP and Technician posts 2018 and also how many got nearby centers and why.

More than 47 lakh candidates have applied for RRB ALP & Technician recruitment 2018. 34 lakh candidates have got centers within 200 kilometers. 99% of Persons with disabilities, oman candidates also have got exam centres within 200 kilometers & 40 lakh candidates have been allocated centres within 500 kilometers.

Now, this mean that 7 lakh candidates have got centres for RRB CEN - 01/2018, more then 500 kilometers from their location.

Railway Recruitment Board:- Aadhaar Card now mandatory for Railway Jobs

Aspirants who plan to get jobs in railway shall be requied to furnish 12 digit Aadhaar number at the time of filling of the application. RRB have decided that in all future railway recruitment, the applicants compulsorily need to furnish 12 digit Aadhaar number or 28 digit Aadhaar registration receipt at the time of filling up the application.

RRBs Clarified that during the exam, through a Bio-metric attendance system, their fingerprints can be collected and matched with the stored with Aadhaar server.

Hence, Railway Recruitment Boards have requested all eligible candidates planning to apply for RRB exams are requested to visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Centers to get them Enrolled for Aadhaar.

RRB ALP & Technicians (CEN 01/2018) Posts Exam Date Announced.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has announced the exam dates of RRB ALP on July 21, 2018. As per the official notice, the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held from August 9, 2018. The admit card for first stage CBT will be issued to candidates from August 5, 2018. The mock test of RRB ALP will be released on July 26, 2018.

To download RRB ALP admit card, candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth. Details like candidate’s name, category, registration number, post applied for, exam date, venue, time and exam day instructions will be mentioned in the admit card. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent to candidates by post.

The link to check exam city, date and session of exam will be activated on July 26, 2018. Candidates have to login with their credentials to know the same.

The first stage of Computer Based Test will carry 75 objective type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness/ Current Affairs. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes. For wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Total 26502 posts has been announced for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technicians posts. The application form was available till March 31, 2018. 2.37 crore applications have been received for the recruitment exam. Candidates could check the application status till July 21, 2018.

Important Notice for candidates of CEN 01/2018- ALP & Technicians Modification of Invalid Photographs

Representations received from the candidates of CEN- 01/2018 regarding invalid photographs have been examined and the revised status of photos are being emailed to individual candidates. They are advised to check the revised status of their applications.

Further, as an exceptional measure, RRBs have decided to give a one-time opportunity to those candidates, whose photographs have not been found valid, to modify their photographs. Candidates may either login to the application status link on the website of RRBs or through the link available in the email sent to them and upload proper passport size photograph as per requirements specified in para 14.1(h) of CEN 01/2018 latest by 23.59 hrs of 20.07.2018.


Thereafter, decision of RRBs regarding validity of photographs shall be final and binding and no further representations on this account shall be entertained.
